Having already had a huge nightmare with taxi code in someone cancelling my journeys and then charging me for it as well as these current journeys the whole service was awful. Taxis arrived ontime and promptly in the afternoon but come the evening they arrived over 40 minutes late, made us walk over 20 minutes extra to suit them and were just un helpful in general, plus having been from Brighton we had to guide the drivers around Manchester so that they could find us, once we got in the cab they had satnavs?! Just useless and incredibly stressful. I will never use taxi code or lynx taxis again after the weekend we've just had. "

"I received texts on the 7th June saying my driver was on route, a whole day before I actually made the booking for. My taxi was needed for 8th June which I triple checked I didn’t actually book for and I tried to call both the company and Taxicode and was never answered. Worst service ever "

"The driver and journey were very smooth. However, we had 15 minutes of debate when we arrived as to whether we had paid. We had to call the manager of the taxi company and explain we had paid through your company. They insisted that we hadn’t paid and needed to pay again. In the end, the taxi company said they had no record of our payment but as we had a receipt they would let us go and contact us if there was a problem. This was a stressful way to end a trip to the airport."

"Our driver did not arrive at the agreed time. We were waiting outside for over an hour. Contacting the dispatch line to reorganise was near impossible - I made over 50 calls in total. The original driver hung up the phone on me repeatedly, as did the second driver that was organised. The final driver who did complete the journey - after midnight- actually gave us clear instructions about where to meet him. Whilst in that final taxi over an hour later I was speaking to Janet and asked that we not be charged because of the huge inconvenience, wait time and stress caused (I am 5 months pregnant and was made to wait an hour in the cold) who told me that there was absolutely no way for the company to pay the taxi driver for the trip, and that we had to. Prior to this all happening I had booked the taxi online - rang to confirm the day before to be told there was no booking; then made a booking over the phone. On the day of the booking I was called to confirm my booking twice, and was spoken to rudely by a man who told me that there was no way I could have already had a confirmation as he was the one who dealt with bookings. Overall an appalling experience and a £20 refund for an awful trip would be appropriate. "

"The taxi to the airport was very prompt and we got off to a good start. However at the drop off point in Manchester Airport, the driver claimed that we had not paid for the service. The fact was that we had paid in advance some weeks before when, we had booked was disputed by both the driver and the company official which he subsequently rang. Her overall manner when speaking to us was very curt and offhand and not in the least bit helpful. We where kept hanging around from 7am-7:20am, until they eventually found that we had paid, thereby wasting our time coupled with these inferences. When they eventually realized that it was in fact their error, there was not apology forthcoming. On the return journey the Bolton taxi just did not turn up at all, after waiting the best part of an hour, the booking firm eventually gave this job at the last minute ( after our call to the firm ) to an entirely different company called Lynx (based in Stockport ) So in conclusion we chose this method of transport the airport for the convenience so to be kept waiting for a disputed payment (on the outboard journey) which turned out to be an office error and to just not turn up at all on the return journey is not convenient at all. The performance of this firm is sadly lacking and I expect a proper formal apology before I would ever consider using them again. So overall not in the least bit satisfied at all. "

"Booked 2 Mercedes E-classes for my wedding transport from hotel to venue, notifying in the comments section when booking that this was for the bridal party. A separate booking had been made for family who had travelled in an 8 seater minibus 30 minutes earlier (despite a 16 seater being paid booked). This same 8 seater minibus had then been advised to return for this booking, arriving 20 minutes late due to having to do 2 separate trips for the earlier booking. When Lynx were contacted to ask why our taxi hadn't arrived at 11.30, we were initially advised they didn't even have a booking for us, leading me to think I was going to be significantly late if I managed to get a taxi there at all! I was absolutely mortified to have to arrive at my wedding in a dirty old minibus, and spent most of the journey on the verge of tears. I will be contacting the company directly for a full refund including compensation as this was completely inappropriate, absolutely disgusting customer service, not the vehicles I booked and paid for, and added a lot of unnecessary stress to an already stressful day."

"Booked transport for 16 people (Groomsmen and family) from hotel at which they were staying to the wedding venue. Taxi booked for 10.45 as everyone needed to be there for around 11. A single 8 seater minibus arrived and had been instructed by Lynx taxis to complete 2 trips, meaning 50% of the group arrived late - 2 of the guests actually had to drive their car to the venue to ensure they could get there to complete some important tasks, meaning we then had to arrange transport back to the venue to collect the car the next day. This same 8 seater minibus had also then been advised to return for a separate booking which was made to take the bridal party, (arriving 20 minutes late) for which we had booked and paid for 2 Mercedes E-classes. I had notified in the comments section that this was for the bridal party, and was mortified to have to arrive at my wedding in a dirty old minibus. This same 8 seater minibus had then been advised to return for this booking, arriving 20 minutes late due to having to do 2 separate trips for the earlier booking. When Lynx were contacted to ask why our taxi hadn't arrived at 11.30, we were initially advised they didn't even have a booking for us, leading me to think I was going to be significantly late if I managed to get a taxi there at all! I was absolutely mortified to have to arrive at my wedding in a dirty old minibus, and spent most of the journey on the verge of tears. I will be contacting the company directly for a full refund including compensation as this was completely inappropriate, absolutely disgusting customer service, not the vehicles I booked and paid for, and added a lot of unnecessary stress to an already stressful day."

"Booked transport for 16 people (Groomsmen and family) from hotel at which they were staying to the wedding venue. Taxi booked for 10.45 as everyone needed to be there for around 11. A single 8 seater minibus arrived and had been instructed by Lynx taxis to complete 2 trips, meaning 50% of the group arrived late - 2 of the guests actually had to drive their car to the venue to ensure they could get there to complete some important tasks, meaning we then had to arrange transport back to the venue to collect the car the next day. This same 8 seater minibus had also then been advised to return for a separate booking which was made to take the bridal party, (arriving 20 minutes late) for which we had booked and paid for 2 Mercedes E-classes. I had notified in the comments section that this was for the bridal party, and was mortified to have to arrive at my wedding in a dirty old minibus.
